The section directly below matters more than everything else on this page combined — read that one even if you read nothing else.

This is not veterinary advice

Nothing on this website is veterinary advice, and nothing on it can be, because no page here has examined your animal. Whatever a page describes about a service, a symptom or a schedule is general information written for a demonstration, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan for your animal.

This is general information, not veterinary advice. This page describes a service. It is general information and it is not veterinary advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan for any particular animal, because no page can examine your pet. If your animal is unwell, injured or behaving unusually, speak to a licensed veterinarian who can actually see it. In an emergency contact your own veterinarian or a 24-hour emergency animal hospital immediately.

That applies to every page on this site without exception, including the pages describing symptoms to watch for, the life-stage schedule and the emergency checklist. Each one tells you what to look for and when to call a veterinarian. None tells you what to give an animal, how much, or how to carry out a procedure at home, and none ever will. If your own animal is unwell, injured or behaving unusually, the only correct next step is a real, licensed veterinarian who can examine it — or, out of hours, a 24-hour emergency animal hospital.

Use of this site

You are welcome to browse this site and treat it as a reference for what MaiaHost hosting and design can produce. You may not scrape it at volume, interfere with how it runs, use the contact form to attack or spam the mailbox behind it, or present any part of it as describing a real practice, veterinarian or animal.

No accreditation is claimed

This site does not say that any professional or industry body accredits or stands behind this practice, because no such relationship exists for a practice that does not exist.

We do not claim anyone else's approval. Woodside Vet & Care, LLC is not accredited, certified, inspected or endorsed by any professional or industry body, and this site does not claim otherwise. What we describe on these pages is what we do and how we do it, in plain language, so that you can judge it for yourself and ask us about any of it.

Where a page refers to "a licensed veterinarian", it describes a licence a person holds — not a claim that an organisation vouches for the business. No real veterinary or animal-welfare organisation is named anywhere on this site, and none has any relationship with it.

Prices are indicative

Every price on this site — on the pricing page, in each service's menu, and in the wellness plans — is an illustrative figure, chosen to make the design realistic rather than to state a real cost. None of it is a quotation or an offer, because there is no real appointment to price. The site also describes a written estimate being given before anything beyond a consultation happens; that, too, is illustrative rather than a real practice's.

Appointments and cancellation

The site describes, in illustrative terms, how booking an appointment here would work. Because there is no diary and no practice behind it, nothing below creates an actual booking or obligation — it exists so the design reads like a real practice's terms.

  1. Booking

Usually by phone or through the contact form, seen at the speed the animal needed — same-day for something new, unhurried for something that had waited. A booking made here is never a real appointment, since there is no diary behind it.

  2. Changing or moving an appointment

We would ask for as much notice as you could manage, so the slot could go to another animal. No fee is described for moving an appointment with reasonable notice.

  3. Missed appointments

A pattern of missed appointments without notice would usually mean a request to prepay before booking again, rather than a charge added afterwards — a description of policy, not an event that has happened.

Payment

The payment terms described elsewhere on this site — that payment would normally be due on the day, that we would complete insurance claim forms while most policies reimburse the client rather than pay us directly, and that a larger claim might be settled directly with an insurer — are written the way a real practice's terms would read, for the same reason as the prices above. No payment is ever actually taken through this site: the contact form does not process payment, and nothing submitted through it is billed to anyone.

Limitation of liability

This site and everything on it are provided as a demonstration, as-is, without any promise as to its accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from treating any price, symptom description, schedule or care information here as though it applied to a real animal or a real practice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles — fittingly, since the fictional practice they describe is imagined to sit on 61st Street in Woodside, in exactly that state.

This practice is fictional

Woodside Vet & Care, LLC does not exist. There is no veterinary practice at 37-32 61st Street, nobody holds a consultation there, and nobody named or pictured on this site is a real person. Every one of the following is invented:

  • The practice itself, its building and the address it is imagined to stand at
  • Every veterinarian, technician and staff member named or pictured on this site, and every licence attributed to them
  • Every price, on the pricing page, in every service's menu and in the wellness plans
  • The vaccination and life-stage care schedule, and the appointment, cancellation and payment terms on this page
  • The case notes and client comments on the reviews page
  • The opening hours printed in the footer and on the contact page

Every telephone number here is the placeholder 000-000-0000 — not a working number, in or out of hours. Every photograph, and the video on the home page, is AI-generated: none depicts a real premises, veterinarian, technician, client or animal. The case notes and comments on the reviews page read like real clinical outcomes and feedback because that makes a demonstration convincing, not because any of it happened, which is why none of it is marked up on this site as a schema.org Review or AggregateRating.

Nobody should act on anything here in relation to a real animal. An animal that is unwell, injured or behaving unusually needs a real, licensed veterinarian who can examine it, and a genuine emergency needs one now, in person. See the privacy notice for what actually happens to a message sent through the contact form — unlike the practice itself, that part of this site is genuinely real.

Getting in touch

Questions about this site, this demonstration, or these terms can be sent to veterinarian@bestdealwebdesign.com, or through the contact page: a real form, delivered to a real mailbox kept for this demonstration, that does not reach a real veterinary practice, because there is not one.
